Sanjay Aggarwal – Managing Partner

Sanjay Aggarwal is the Managing Partner of Raguel Law and has been the driving force where the firm stands today. Hailing from a humble background and believing in the practice of fairness, he has been instrumental in provding the members of the Firm a work culture many desires for.

As the Managing Partner of the firm, he is responsible for the overall scenario of the law firm business. He has been advising and representing clients on a wide variety of matters in the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India, various High Courts, District Courts and Tribunals and Forums including Competition Commission, National Consumer Disputes Redressal Forum, and State Consumer Forums.

Having an experience of over two decades, Sanjay advises clients on various aspects and issues relating to The Trade Marks Act, The Indian Copyright Act, The Design Act, The Patents Act, The Geographical Indication Act, Sales of Goods Act, Competition Act, and Consumer Protection Act.

In the IPR space, he has advised several major Indian and foreign clients (collaborating with Solicitors from USA, Germany, and other Asian Countries) on management of IP portfolios, valuation of IP assets, protection of their brands in India, monitoring infringements and violations of IPRs, prosecuting their IP matters in India (including civil and criminal action) and suggesting remedies available, filing applications for Trademarks and Patents.

He is actively involved in drafting and scrutinizing numerous agreements such as Copyright and Trade Secret Licensing, Lease, Joint Venture, Distribution, Technology Transfer/ collaboration/ License, and Marketing. He also advises clients on the legal aspects related to M&A, Joint Ventures, Contracts, FEMA and Company Law.

Shellen Bajaj – Senior Partner

Being a Partner at Raguel Law, Shellen has been applauded for the mentorship and quick knowledge in the field of law. He has an experience of over two decades in handling corporate matters including corporate advisory on infrastructure regulation and compliances, and real estate which also includes performing due diligence and title search of the properties for client assistance and knowledge.

Shellen has extensively worked in the Media, Telecom and Technology sector. His negotiation power towards procurement and deployment of technology in the internet and telecom sectors have made him one of the ‘best suited lawyers’ in the TMT domain.

He has led corporate communications, partnerships, joint ventures collaborations, and, drafted revenue share agreements, online trading, auctions, private treaties, travel/ad‐sales, financial / asset valuation, service agreements, consortium agreements for tendering, to name a few at pan India and international levels. He has worked with the premium brands, major public sector undertakings and various government departments and ministries, in the telecom, media and digital space.

M ABHIJNAN – Partner

Abhijnan has fair expertise in advising clients on complex issues relating to corporate commercial laws and drafting, reviewing and negotiating various kinds of commercial contracts, procuring licences and conducting due-diligence of companies.

Abhijnan is also handling various IP portfolios (prosecution, advisory, litigation) for an array of international as well as Indian clients (involving large multinational corporations, medium and small-sized enterprises, start-up organizations and individuals). These clients are interspersed across multiple sectors inter alia Pharmaceuticals, Banking & Financial services, Confectionery, Education, Liquor, Tobacco, Fashion, Beauty & Cosmetics, Health Care Equipment, Entertainment & Broadcasting, Telecommunications and Information Technology.

VIVEK BHOJWANI – Head – Business Development

Vivek Bhojwani has more than 25 years of experience in Business Development, Reputational Risk Mitigation and Knowledge Management roles, working with companies including American Express, Sodexho Pass and Wachovia Bank (now Wells Fargo). He has an MBA from Fore School of Management, Bachelors in Mathematical Statistics from Hindu College, Delhi University and did his schooling from Modern School, Barakhamba Road, New Delhi.
